"I would recomend for a short break but it would have been far too quiet for a week or longer. We arrived one day late for our break and the 3 days was long enough onsite. We enjoyed the activities surrounding the site e.g Alnwick castle and gardens and we had planned to visit the wildlife sanctury locally but the bad weather prevented this. " |

"We needed somwhere we could safely bring our large (well behaved) dog and Sandy Bay was ideal. Admittedly it was early in the season and Sandy Bay was nowhere near full so the park was comparatively quiet but everything was open to the public well appointed clean and all the staff were welcoming and helpful. The location was easy to find and we were easily able to meet up with our friends in the area and explore the marvellous countryside." |
